Future Me Hates Me is the debut album by Auckland Central indie pop band The Beths. Released on the 10th of August 2018 on Carpark Records.

Background & recording[]

A new single, "Great No One," was released in October 2017.[1] The song was the first to be lifted from the band's debut album, Future Me Hates Me. Prior to the album's release, the bands announced their signing to Carpark Records in the US (who also reissued Warm Blood internationally)[2] and to Dew Process in Australia[3]. The album was released globally on the 10th of August. The title track was nominated as one of five finalists for the 2018 Silver Scroll award in New Zealand[4], but lost to Marlon Williams[5]. The album received press worldwide, with articles from Rolling Stone,[6] and a 7.9/10 review from Pitchfork.[7]
